SAP Point of Sale

PoS (Point of Sale) is a front end application which can be used for all the business transaction in a retail store. Enteg is specialized in designing a customized POS (Point of Sale) application, which can handle complicated retail business scenarios like pricing (including promotions , taxes and discounts), Batch management / Gift vouchers selling and tracking, Sales, Service and Returns scenarios.

POS offline functionalities make it much more valuable in the business. Some of the features of POS offline functionalities include:
  • Easy to install and upgrade
  • Informs the user of a fail-over condition when the primary server becomes unavailable.
  • Performs all mission-critical POS functions and transactions that do not require access to services or system components.
  • Provides stand-in behaviour for functions that require access to centralized services or services outside of the store.
  • Updates the OLC (off-line capable client) operation data with current information at regular, configurable time intervals.
  • Synchronizes transactions back to the primary back end application when fail-back occurs.
  • Uses the local transaction data store when OLC is active in order to perform transaction workflow functions for transactions that were performed during the current “offline session”.
